At Plant Medicine Mexico our mission is to maintain the highest standards of safety, ethics and cultural respect in the facilitation of plant medicine experiences in Mexico. We are committed to carefully reviewing all professionals listed on our platform to ensure they meet rigorous criteria in terms of training, integrity, and alignment with best practices.
We recognize the profound potential of plant medicines for healing and personal transformation, and we believe that this work should be with great responsibility. By offering a transparent and reliable directory of vergrade facilitators, our goal is to support health professionals, applicants and communities in making informed, respectful and ethical decisions by participating in this sacred work.
We are dedicated to building bridges between traditional knowledge and modern understanding, while protecting both the safety of participants and the integrity of the lineages and practices involved.
Our Story
At Plant Medicine Mexico, we carefully support providers who have been trained and guided by teachers in the indigenous and respectful use of psychedelic medicines for plants. Most of our suppliers have undergone extensive training with master plant healers in Peru, Ecuador or Brazil.
We recognize that there are people who offer psychedelic services with little or no formal experience beyond attending the ceremonies on their own. That is why it is essential for us that all providers represented by Mexico Plant Medicine are thoroughly reviewed by our team of qualified plant medicine professionals, each with comprehensive training, as well as by our medical staff and support staff.
Our review process evaluates suppliers based on the following key criteria:
- Security protocols
- Pre-cemony evaluations, including a review of any medication that may pose a risk when combined with plant medicine
- Detection of psychiatric conditions that could interfere with the healing process or increase the risk of adverse effects.
- Cost of services
- Review how the plant medicine provided was obtained.
